WOMAN

Thanks to the HD liposuction women gain a waistline, round buttocks shape, flat belly with a marked column of straight muscles including a line between muscles and navel.

On the back side of the body we mark upper line of buttocks. It is a cross triangle with two characteristic holes.

The breast sculpture is exposed thanks to fat reduction in armpits. Sucked out fat could be used to fat transfer to breasts or buttocks to emphasize their roundness or increase in volume.

Liposuction removes excess fat from abdomen, loins, armpits, thighs, arms, neck, calves and chin.

Process of the procedure

1

The doctor takes photos then he marks areas for liposuction. Anaesthesiologist consults the patient and qualifies for anesthesia.

2

At the beginning of the procedure, the surgeon makes several small incisions 3-6mm through which he inputs the anesthetic fluid with an infiltrating cannula into the subcutaneous tissue. After 10-20 minutes through the same incisions, doctor enters cannulas to perform liposuction.

During liposuction, we can shrink the skin using the fantastic ARGO PLASMA device. RENUVION and ARGO PLASMA contract the collagen fibers under the skin and in the skin itself. It gives the effect of skin tension after liposuction. The introduction of this procedure has changed the effects of our operations. In the past, patients were concerned about excess skin after liposuction. Now we can make them happy by thinning the figure and shrinking the skin.

3

Finally, the doctor puts stitches on the skin incisions. Sometimes it is necessary to leave 2 cm drains which are removed the next day. We put ondressings and compression clothing.

Medications during procedure

  • 0.9 % saline (skin cleanser);
  • 1% Xylocaine – local anesthetic;
  • Adrenalin – blood vessel constrictor
  • Biofuroksym or Cipronex – antibiotic;

  • Dormicum – sleeping pill;
  • Hydroxizinum – hypnotic drug;
  • Ketonal – painkiller;
  • Pyralgin – painkiller.

Post-surgery advices

After surgery, patient stays in bed, gets drips, painkillers, selected food and tries to stand up. Getting up too quickly might cause dizziness or faint.

During the day in the clinic the operated area is exposed by LED TRI WINGS lamp. We remove drains and apply dressings. The following day we run the first massage and patient leaves the clinic. It is recommended getting other person help.

You should rest in a bed 2-3 days. Especially, after abdomen liposuction we recommend lying on the back.

Avoid sitting as it might cause a horizontal furrow which will be formed at the level of the navel. Sucked out areas are prone to pressure and excessive pressure prints could remain.

Activity

In a first week after the procedure avoid exercises or lifting heavy objects. You could slowly come back to normal activity.

Do not do any workouts for about 3 weeks, avoid sun and use UV moisturizer for scars. Scars after incisions will be red, then cherry and then slowly they will brighten.

Expectations

The purpose of the procedure is body shaping not a fat reduction.

After surgery, body stores liquid, you could gain weight. This could remain for about 2 weeks after surgery. There may be swelling in the pubic area, bruises in the operated area or below and discomfort. This unpleasant feeling usually disappears within 7-10 days.

There is an increase in temperature, first pale face then redness. Also redness of neck and upper chest might occur. There may be severe heartbeat up to 72 hours and sometimes headache.

The final effect shows up about 3 months after surgery.

Possible complications after procedure

A typical consequence of liposuction is the need to be away from work for at least two weeks.

The following side effects can occur during treatment: bruises, hematomas, swelling, leakage from wounds of varying severity, pain at the sites of the procedure, numbness, seroma (fluid collection under the skin) or inadequate blood supply (drop of hemaglobin).

Within 72 hours of surgery, symptoms which may occur by anesthesia: nausea, vomiting, distraction, physical weakness and palpitations. Therefore make sure to get a second person help.

Recovery time depends on the number of operated areas and the volume of fat removed. A return to full activity requires an individual doctor's opinion.

Each liposuction is an invasive procedure during which undesirable consequences may occur, i.e. complications. Harmful and temporary effects occur in most patients: soreness of the operated area, skin damage, and change in skin colour, swelling, hematomas and slightly visible scars.

Wound infection is very rare, called: keloid scar. Very rarely (less than 0.07%) there are serious complications that threaten life or health.
